Jacked-down, Pre-cast Piles
150mm x 150mm
Capacity – 220kN max
Typically used in underpinning schemes but can also be applied to new foundations.
A reinforced concrete foundation (raft or slab) is constructed under an existing structure and needled into the walls to provide new support to the structure. The Jacked-Down rig is then bolted to the slab/raft and then the piles installed through pre-determined access holes through the slab/raft. The pre-cast piles are jacked into the ground in sections to a pre-determined load using the buildings dead-load as kentledge. This system is well suited to areas which are sensitive to vibration.
Our small compact rigs enable high capacity piles to be constructed on restricted access locations.
